Juniors: Hard work=Reward

Many of my juniors have fallen in love with the great game of golf and won tournaments and made school teams. One of my most recent is Maddie from Troy. She just started golfing about 3 years ago and have worked diligently on her game. In August 2023, she felt comfortable and confident enough to try out for her high school team. Not only was she selected to play, she made the varsity team! Moments like these and notes such as the one below is what make makes me most proud and feel so blessed to work with all the juniors and be a positive force in their lives.

“Golf is a sport that many people lean towards as a sport for leisure and fun. Despite this, golf is also an extremely competitive and challenging sport to those who pursue it. At first, golf seems to be a sport about time and simply swinging a club, when in reality, it takes skill, precision and a professional to show you the ropes in order to gain the skill and knowledge. Coach Andy is one of these professionals who has this skill. Along with his many years of personal experience with golf, Coach Andy has been helping many, including myself, for years, in order to help junior golfers reach our goals for the sport. He created many programs, which he recommended me to join his Elite Program for those more serious about the sport so to reach my goal, to pass tryouts for the Troy High School Golf team. For three years, starting with his non-profit program, Coach Andy, had been able to correct my form and perfect my skills for the sport that which eventually ended up landing myself a spot of the Troy High School Varsity Golf team as a Sophomore.

Thanks coach Andy!
